Customer Service Representative
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with at least one year of customer service experience in an office setting
Job Requirements:
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and in ERP systems
- Excellent customer service/people skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ever changing environment
- Ability to multitask
- No-remote work
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent service and support to customers and vendors through phone and email
- Coordinates shipping and receiving, prepares orders for invoicing, and other general office support, as needed
- Answer incoming phone calls and route as required Maintain Customer Service email inbox: forward new POs to inside salesmen for entry, provide customer support for all inquiries, track order process thru ERP system
- Review all orders for accuracy Send order acknowledgement to customer
- Maintain delivery status updates
- Follow up with Vendors on all purchase orders
- Confirm vendor acknowledgements for accuracy
- Expedite orders, as needed, to guarantee delivery dates are maintained
- Advise sales staff and management of any customer issue or vendor issues, working together to resolve
- Assist with accounting functions, as required
- Provide back up support for other job functions as required by management
- Assist with maintaining office supplies
