Customer Service Representative

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with at least one year of customer service   experience in an office setting

Job Requirements:

  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications, including Word,   Excel, and in ERP systems
  • Excellent customer service/people skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced ever changing environment
  • Ability to multitask
  • No-remote work

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent service and support to customers and vendors   through phone and email
  • Coordinates shipping and receiving, prepares orders for invoicing, and other general office support, as needed
  • Answer incoming phone calls and route as required Maintain Customer Service email inbox: forward new POs to inside salesmen for entry, provide customer support for all inquiries, track order process thru ERP system
  • Review all orders for accuracy Send order acknowledgement to customer
  • Maintain delivery status updates
  • Follow up with Vendors on all purchase orders
  • Confirm vendor acknowledgements for accuracy
  • Expedite orders, as needed, to guarantee delivery dates are maintained
  • Advise sales staff and management of any customer issue or vendor issues, working together to resolve
  • Assist with accounting functions, as required
  • Provide back up support for other job functions as required by management
  • Assist with maintaining office supplies
